Sounds dreamy!
Ah, the lure of cheap labor as Forbes sucks up to the Mullahs.
Its a great place to hang out.
GRAPHHIC CONTENT:
This just might be the dumbest thing Forbes has ever published.
No gay cruises, tho.......................
Yeah, my summer vacation plans are all settled ow.
Traveling to the Moon would be cool. Traveling to Mars would be cool. Traveling to Iran. Not cool.
Steve Forbes is a good guy and has a better grasp than most of economics and its dynamics in America and elsewhere. His “Fact and Comment” editorial page is one of the best sources of right-thinking and free-market economic information anywhere.
Unfortunately, some kind of Chinese investment company bought out Forbes a few years ago. Although Steve is still the Editor in Chief, I wonder what kind of sway he has overall since it looks like there’s some pretty funky writers coming down the pike over there.
Vacation with no alcohol, the women wear tents, and the local guide the government requires you to have keeps hitting on your girl because he knows you can’t say squat or he’ll turn you in to the authorities on some BS religious charge.
This probably appeals to the NPR / retired teachers crowd. They’re always looking for some dopey pseudo-adventure where they award each other gold stars for following obscure cultural protocols.
Advanced visas are required for Americans, who must be accompanied by Iranian guides and may not visit Iranians in their homes.”............................. Das ist der Führer bestellen. Iran ist schön, genießen Sie es mit Ihren Guides und unsere Gestapo.
Equally uncertain are the fates of at least seven people in Iran, five of them American citizens. Four were imprisoned after the nuclear accord took effect and relaxed sanctions against Iran in exchange for its verifiable guarantees of peaceful nuclear work.
Who the heck would want to go there in the first place????????
On the surface, this sounds like one. Has anyone read the actual Forbes article instead of an article about the article?
Revolting.
The Washington Post or NY TIMES couldn’t do any better.
Summer is "islamic justice" season in Iran.
Iran needs a new supply of hostages to ransom.
Yes, when you travel to another country you should follow their rules and adapt to their customs.
Too bad many people from Muslim countries don’t understand this.
If there are, they'll be one way, departures only.
They’ll just keep you hanging on...................
