She's got her head up her fat bikini bottom. Her country is being invaded and she's worrying about a little smog. Piece of work. Fiddles while Berlin burns

What arrogance to think that we can do anything here on Earth to affect the climate or temperature. It’s pure folly, and disguised as a scheme to impose a global tax on anyone that can pay it.

Is not Merkel the same person who short changed her NATO responsibilities? IMHO Germany owes NATO a lot of money.

Wealth is, at its most fundamental level, measured by how much energy you can command. The more energy you have access to the richer you are, individually, as a business, as a society.

This effort, by a toxic union of billionaire rentseekers and totalitarian marxists, to make energy less available, less reliable, and more expensive is at a level of societal insanity comparable to that which overwhelmed the Xhosa in 1856 when the prophetess of doom, Nongqawuse, convinced them that salvation lay in destroying all their cattle and crops. It did not turn out well for them then. It will not turn out well now.

Turning our backs on cheap, plentiful energy from any source is just as bad a move.

The world would have to put $145 trillion into low-carbon energy to become $19 trillion richer by 2050 — a 13 percent return on investment over 33 years.

The Left never considers “Opportunity Cost” when they are hatching their plans to “Invest” other people’s money.

What other things could the people that earned that money do with it if the government had not confiscated the money they plan to invest in low-carbon energy?

Even if the government is going to take the money anyway what other things could they spend that money on that could have a greater return? Replace aging bridges? Build roads that do not require endless repairs?

So when they spend other people’s money they accept no responsibility for what could have been. After all there is always more where that came from.

I thought the last Paris agreement last October applauded themselves for agreeing to new rules that were guaranteed to reduce the increase in average global temperature below 1 1/2 degrees Celsius by the end of the century?

OK!! Everybody pay attention!

Lesson for today:

1. The sun is 1,300,000 times as big as the earth.

2. The sun is a giant nuclear furnace that controls the climates of all its planets.

3. The earth is one of the sun’s planets.

4. The earth is a speck in comparison to the size of the sun.

5. Inhabitants of the earth are less than specks.

Study Question: How do less-than-specks in congress plan to control the sun?

Angela, just think of the positive economic factors if nothing is done.

All of that construction to move the populations of coastal cities inland would be a fantastic boom to the economy and for urban renewal and transportation improvements.

All of these are liberal fantasies and you would think they would be all in.

How much of that 145 T did Obama sign the US up for? And, how much of it is transfer payments to African or Muslim countries to help them be green?

That’s what I want to know. How many skittles are we supposed to crap out?
