Tories liked them before. BBC been around a long time.>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

I lived it.

At one time the BBC was the glue that held the British Empire and the British Commonwealth together. Then the control of their broadcasting fell from the hands of post WWII management, people who had fought the Nazis, into the hands of socialists who wanted to bring a lock step infantilization to those whom they had considered their children, based no the very colonial paternalistic smugness which was the marker of the former BBC. Now without the colonies, a bunch of patronizing socialists who were perfectly comfortable at drawing the curtain if ignorance over genuine freedom earned by the sacrifice of the WWII generation, a sacrifice frittered away rather than engaging and protecting the fundamental freedoms of the British people. They gave birth to public radio in Canada , Australia and the USA and transferred their propaganda to other free societies.I find it invasive.

The possession of firearms is now so restricted thanks to their horrid international campaign that there are sections of Britain where people can only defend themselves from forceful entry by “empowered minorities”into their homes with only pikes and swords. The same has happened in Australia and in Canada to a lesser degree.

I hate the ba$tards.I grew up in a free society which was snatched away when people failed to fight them. They need fighting now.
