Perhaps President Trumps knows that Obamacare can only be repealed in stages when we only have freakin’ 52 in the Senate?
It takes 60 to repeal Obamacare outright, we don’t have it.
As I understand it, if this bill is passed today, it will head to the Senate where it could be changed, and then back to the House where it could be changed. We could still get a lot of what we want.
It wouldn’t surprise me if this was a difference in public negotiations vs. private negotiations.
At this point Trump can say he did all he could to get this bill pushed through and that Ryan failed in pulling it off as he promised.
If this proves to be the case it’s just another albatross around Ryan’s neck.
Ryan care is obamacare or commie care by another name.
Let the free market handle healthcare as it is the only thing than can. Repeal Obamacare and all it’s regulations and agencies.

The most Pro-Life thing Congress could do is get the Federal government completely, lock, stock and barrel out of the healthcare and insurance industries. Don’t regulate them. Don’t finance them. Don’t insure them.

I had heart that that is not in the bill. My understanding is that the bill takes the teeth out of obamacare; kills it. Then it passes Senate through reconciliation. Then, Sec. Price at HHS knows the various processes to take the axe to the rest.
