Many of us on this site are Catholic and TOTALLY disagree with this pope hoisted on us are we supposed to give up the religion we were raised in because of him, even more than that the church covered up the disgraceful pedophile behavior of priests YET we still attend our churches because that is the religion we were raised in!!!
Yes, you're right, a Catholic choosing to remain in the Catholic Church worldwide while Francis is Pope in Rome is just like Neil Gorsuch actively joining the most liberal Episoplian Church he can find in his hometown, happily joining one with an insane socialist woman "priest".
Likewise, look at the example of Texans who choose to remain American citizens while OBAMA was President of THIS country. Obviously, the fact they did so means its OKAY for a New York voter to actively ELECT Bill DeBlasio as the mayor of the city they live in. No difference between the New York DeBlasio voter and the Texan remaining American while Obama is in Washington D.C., right?
