We should be concerned. No doubt. Especially with Schlafly now suddenly dead, along with Scalia. Imagine that, same year.

Schlafly wrote that Gorsuch "probably would NOT be pro-life on the Supreme Court" and included him on his list of "unacceptable nominees."

Three of my cousins and their families in South Carolina left this so-called “church” over the homo promo issue, never to return. If they would leave why not Gorsuch?

He is a first amendment champion. He is the one who blocked Obama from forcing the Hobby Lobby owners, giving them standing as people even though they are corporation owners. (This qualification alone is good enough for me, because the dems heads are exploding over it, did you see the tria..ah confirmation?)

He also fought for Little Sisters of the Poor, and won. The government cannot force religious organizations or business' owned by Christians to provide abortion producing drugs to their employees, if it offends their religious consequence. This is huge!

For those alone, I am eternally gateful for Judge Gorsuch nomination.

I wouldn’t attend a church that opposed the Right to Life of innocent little preborn babies.

So he strictly interprets the constitution but loosely interprets the Bible? Very loosely.

I’ve not liked Gorsuch since I read about his chummy friendships with homosexuals. He’s also wishy-washy on abortion. Why in the hell the Heritage Foundation and National Review think he’s so conservative is beyond me. He sounds like a clone of Souter or Anthony Kennedy.

“Gorsuch on Obergefell

Also during the confirmation hearings, in response to a question about same-sex “marriage” and the results of the Obergefell decision – which many consider an even more outrageously corrupt, activist Supreme Court decision than Roe v Wade — Gorsuch stated it “is absolutely settled law.”

He did not just call it “settled law,” which one could say, well, yes, in legal terms that is what it could be said to be … for now. But he unnecessarily and disturbingly added the word “absolutely.” Why did he go to that length?

That comment seemed to indicate Gorsuch is not a full constitutional originalist. No originalist would ever make such a comment that appears to betray the Constitution and the intentions of the Founders – considering the travesty of the Obergefell decision.”

There is not enough support in the country to make all abortions illegal and GOP politicians have been cynically using the issue to keep well meaning but gullible people in the thrall of the GOPe. Let’s keep in mind that most of the high level bad actors like McCain and Dubya claim to be pro-life.

The truth is whether abortion is legal or not is a minor issue compared to immigration, the economy, the budget, healthcare, foreign policy etc. The law is not going to change anytime soon and conservatives have devoted too much energy to the issue.
