Ryan never should have drafted the stupid bill without the FC on board. He comes out of this looking like a moron.

Which he is. Hope he pays a price for it in the end.

The FC can come out of this in the right by offering something that all can agree to.

they can in effect “ neuter” Ryan

Such is the “ Art of The Deal”

Getting the government out of healthcare matters just as much as what you named.

Your concerns about Ivanka are justifiable in my view. Let’s call this what it is: nepotism.

Imagine the conservative outrage if Obama had appointed his daughter and husband to an important official role inside the White House. Or, had Hilary been elected (God forbid) and done something like this with Chelsea.

“Yes the 3 step plan was problematic, “

Yeah, cause if they don’t have the balls to do it now, they REALLY stick it to Obamacare in the midterms. No more. The GOP is a bad wife saying “we can have sex one day next week”. Next week never comes.

Do you want to move the US government to the right or not? Taking a right winger backseat to no one, I do.

It is childish, almost libtardish, to think that we can close our eyes and pretend we’re back in 1910 with President Taft in charge again. If we got 8 years of successes followed by another 8, we might. If anyone thinks we can do that in 75 days they’re unrealistic.

Do I personally agree with Meadows, Gohmert, Brat and Jordan on nearly everything? I do. But, if anyone thinks Meadows et al. are helping our collective cause by making the perfect the enemy of the good on EVERYTHING, they’re just giving comfort and aide to the lefty nuts. They adore you guys so inclined now, knowing they don’t even have to do any work, the FC crew will do it for them. Not every issue that comes up needs be treated like a go to the mattresses Burkean revolution moment or face abolishment of the 1st, 2d, 3rd, 4th or 5th amendments.

“Conservative litmus tests:
1. Does this law create more freedom or less freedom?
2. Does this law force one person to pay for another person (i.e., less freedom for the responsible payer)?”

How then do you judge the GOP bill repealing the Obama regulation preventing internet service providers from selling the browsing history and identities of their customers? 1) It creates more freedom for the corporations selling internet services (the Supreme Court ruled corporations are people in Citizens United) while at the same time it infringes on an individual breathing person’s 4th amendment right to privacy.
2) The customer of the ISP (the individual citizen) pays for the service yet has no right to privacy with respect to his use of the service. The ISP can generate revenue selling information about the customer.

While the president has not yet signed the repeal of the Obama privacy order, the White House has signaled he will. In this case freedom of the corporation wins, and freedom for the individual loses.

For those who don’t know, the Freedom Caucus is very tight with Sean Hannity to give you an idea of how conservative they are. Gomert, for example, is the conservative Anti-Ryan.

If Trump’s disagreement with the Freedom Caucus is a matter of how much money to support the poor in health care, I get his point. But this is TOO VAGUE — TOO EXPANSIVE.

He needs to narrow his critism pronto.

Remember back before the election, when I raised the question of what would be the future of conservatism after the election?

Deja vu...

He first tried dangling the carrot, by buttering them up and giving in to a lot of their demands. But that didn’t work, so now he’s attempting the “stick” strategy. He’s a smart tactician. I wouldn’t make too much of that.

Good read on “ negotiation tactics”.... If you have ever been involved in one this is how it goes....

Unsubscribed from all Trump email lists.

There will be no further contributions.

Trump doesn’t want me on his team? Fine with me. His team is obviously named “NeoRhinos” anyway. I’m not interested in being a part of it.

Ready to surrender to after 60 days? Wow. What a patriot. This is attitude is exactly why conservatives never get anything from the GOP.

2 points: Trumps tweet is an example of 3D chess or just being transparent? Explain your answer.

I think that is becoming increasingly clear. Too much emotion and not enough discipline. Not a good combo.

As a billionaire, he got used to saying and doing whatever he wanted and greedy sycophants would cheer him on. Different ball game in politics.
