Trump has a _yuge_ advantage in any negotiation.
If the folks on the other side of the table think you are totally crazy they will jump at the slightest concession and cut a deal.

The last shut down, all the park rangers were working overtime all around the country keeping citizens from using THEIR property.
The Executive should have some say into which departments shut and which stay open.
Pretty sure that the 15% of the government that Obama considered “non-essential” isn’t the same 15% that Trump would consider “non-essential”. (I’d personally consider about half the Federal government “non-essential”. Shut it down for the next 8 years.)

If dems cause a shutdown Trump can lay off departments that oversee and pay out for food stamps, welfare, security of federal courts, etc. That’ll get the libs moving!

Well and truly said. And while it is shut down, Trump should take the opportunity to FIRE all so-called non-essential employees. People who really are non-essential are simply another group of deadbeats who are STEALING the taxpayers’ money. GET RID OF THEM!
I support the Freedom Caucas 110 % and encourage them to shut this government down !!. Enough debt has been incurred. Pay it BACK. NO MORE DEBT!! IT stops NOW!! reduce all government agencies across the board by 20% this year and 20% next until the budget is balances but ABSOLUTELY — NO MORE DEBT!!
