My assessment is that they hold unexamined, unquestioned, intellectually narrow, knee-jerk leftist views. The overarching agenda for them is, ‘How do we advance progressive views/attack conservatives today?’

When the GOP was the minority and threatened a shutdown, the MSM played it like the end of the world as we know it, and suicide for the GOP.
