There is also a report from Dr. Ben Carson, the new HUD Secretary that is also over one trillion dollars missing.

I'm not a mathematician, but that seems like a fair amount of money.

They have found $500+ billion in accounting errors.

I believe I saw the other number on facebook somewhere and I don't remember the source.

But I believe the trillion dollar number comes from being unable to account for enough assets to justify one trillion dollars in spending.

Regardless, Dr. Ben Carson has a mess on his hands -- which I call an Obama-mess.

Hannity.com has an article on the accounting problem (the $500+ billion). I could not locate where I saw the trillion dollar figure.
