The issue is Not one of the nation leaders fighting there wants anyone to use chemicals weapons. Easy as pie to get their approval to take out those bases where they were launched.
I don’t believe Assad did it wither..the terrorists always use them when they’re loosing. But all involved there are going to try and safe face for this war by whatever story they want to project..including us.

From my many years of studying this, I don’t think the world works on money alone.
It also works on ‘favors’. We do this for you and you owe us. Or conversely, if you do this for us we owe you one in the future. That’s obviously an oversimplification, but you get my drift.
This is a plus for Trump in many ways....he’s shown he’s not going to mess around....and the world leaders took note.
But you can bet that this meeting with China, and Trumps asking China do more about N.Korea is going to be extraordinarily interesting.
And yes...Kim’s not going to sleep well tonight...he knows China and Trump are meeting and this missle attack took place during that visit......ha!

What's that to do with anything? You said some entity was able to act as Commander in Chief of the armed forces in lieu of President Trump.
If that's the case, why would they owe Trump anything? They would already own him.

This seems to have been written before the attacks but other than an apparently wrong guess about what Trump would do, I think the reasoning is better than that of anyone else out there, excepting maybe Trump. Trump knows.
