From Hillary’s mouth, to Valarie Jarret’s mind (Obama’s chief of staff), to Dina Powell’s lips (closest of friends to Valerie Jarret & Ivanka Trump), to Ivanka Trump’s ears, to daddy Trump’s action.

You know the administration's foreign policy has been co-opted when we start hearing "Do it for the children!" The "it's for the children" line seems to be how every political con man from Woodrow Wilson to Bill Clinton sold ill-conceived intervention abroad to the American public.

I also agree with your assessment of Ivanka's influence on daddy. With the flaky liberal friends she surrounds herself with, she's the perfect mark for the "it's for the children" con.

We have a new Commander in Chief Terry, did you think all would stay the same? These were decisive strikes against the bases which armed and dropped the gas.....of which Obama should have done when that line was crossed.

When you think about it Assad has no place to go after this. Though I have questioned greatly who used these weapons it is most certainly a good thing to have destroyed the means of carrying these attacks out in air-strikes. World leaders certainly support this......

Though Assad is secular he has for quite some time continued to loose the support of his people now because he is incapable militarily to defend the nation against the influx of Islamic terrorists and Isis...who seek to take over the government...and that is a threat to our nation.

Assad said early on this would be a ten year war at least....what he did not consider was the exodus of all the people from his country nor the degree of destruction which would destroy the country.

Furthermore....we do not get the intelligence that Trump does.....there is no way Trump would have moved had he not determined it necessary....so at what point do we trust his judgment?

The dust has not settled yet and the propaganda machines are in full mode....but he did do the right thing and I believe this will open the way for diplomatic agreements between all the major parties concerned.

Keep in mind the ONLY reason this war has continued is because every time the waring parties made an agreement ..Obama and Kerry and Hillary said no to those agreements. It remains now to be seen if Trump will make the difference in the diplomatic arena....but a difference currently he has surely made.

I do not trust the intelligence community. They are Trump's enemies. And I still question why killing innocent​ people with gas is different from burning them alive. I don't even trust that there was a chemical attack. It seems we're ready to pounce if chemicals are used. But not for any other reason. The simple fact is it's none of our business. If we'll do this, why not take out North Korea? He's a mean sadistic be dude who has nukes. Assad doesn't.

Well there's no doubt at all there was a chemical attack...the evidence is indisputable when you investigate it on your own even.

Further Trump takes what his Military people tell him regardless of other intelligence....and he's had them on the ground there for time enough to get the facts. There's a reason the world opposes chemical weapon use....it's a mass destructive agent you can't defend yourself with for one thing. And we sure don't want it spread around the USA and that's reason enough. Obama failed to act against the use when he refused to cross his own red line pertaining to that. He hollered wolf and did nothing....Trump simply acted..... As for Korea....they got the message and China will certainly be sure that they did now.
