Except again NYC gives more to the rest of the country in federal taxes than it receives in federal aid every year.

Actually that is correct. They give more in taxes because it is the financial hub of the western world as is London. It is not because of the underlying quasi socialist government of New York. It should also be noted that companies are fleeing New York to lower tax states. New York is slowly dying!

I’m also finding it hard to believe that the funds the leftist sh!tholes send to Washington aren’t outweighed by all of the SNAP, WIC, federal school lunch program, Section 8 housing vouchers, highway $, college grants, “free” healthcare, etc. wasted on the MILLIONS of non-contributing residents.
