No leverage to do that when everything here is based on stuff out of the UN. So the indefensible 1967 “borders” (armistice lines) are of course part of this. This is throwing up siege ramps against Israel.
Israel’s biggest security risk isn’t a military invasion — it’s internal strife from disaffected people who aren’t on the same page politically or culturally as the dominant group. It’s not much different than the situation here in the U.S. with our own permanent underclass, when you think about it.
