‘Critics point to flawed studies that suggest that roughly 80 percent of prepubescent children ultimately change their minds about being transgender. Even if this were true, would it have been worth forcing Hannah to live as a boy, putting her at risk for depression and perhaps suicide?’

And if he changes his mind he certainly won’t be depressed or suicidal.

I just read a story of a transgendered woman who regretted taking hormone blockers because he failed to grow an adequate sexual organs and couldn’t use it to do a surgical change.

But the author’s hypothetical use of anecdotes to editorialize is noted.

Depression and suicide rates are off the charts for these people AFTER they get "turned into the opposite sex".

More facts that do not matter. Surgical mutilation, depression, suicide, destroyed lives are all very minor collateral damage in the sick war the left is waging on our society.
