Temperature 82 degrees with occasional clouds, and lagoon waters, clear as paradise… former President Barack Obama is wrapping up his month-long vacation in French Polynesia – with Michelle by his side.
On Sunday, Tahiti television station TNTV revealed photos of Michelle Obama paddleboarding while the Barack swam in a Polynesian lagoon.
The pictures were taken on the island of Moorea by fellow vacationers, who spotted the laid-back couple using a small boat for a late morning excursion. They were escorted by two other boats with their security detail, the station says.
The former president has been staying out of the public eye at The Brando, the super-private luxury hotel on Tetiaroa, the South Pacific island bought in 1967 by Marlon Brando as a personal retreat.
Former First Lady Michelle Obama had not been with her husband the entire time – she arrived on the island on Saturday.

400k is a lot of salary for one year, but it doesn't provide for endless leisure in tropical islands, for an extended period of time. Must be nice. Maybe they only ordered from the buffet line?

Since French Polynesia doesn’t have an extradition treaty with the US I wonder where their next ‘vacation” stop will be and for how long.
It would be an interesting observation if the second nation in their all expense paid vacation also doesn’t have an extradition treaty with US.
