Anyone can repent and be found in the Book of Life. To me, this is what makes Christianity so beautiful. No matter how horrid of a person you are, God will forgive you if you truly ask.

Under the plea agreement

Why would the prosecution even seek a plea agreement in this case? This guy admitted to the cold-blooded murder of several innocent people. If anyone deserves the death penalty, he does.

Dylan Roof is a little sniveling, rat bastard coward who shot and killed nine decent and helpless Black Christian Americans who were at prayer.

My wife and I were living in Charleston (West Ashley), on the day this happened. Our next door neighbor was the pastor of a sister AME church of Emanuel AME also located in downtown Charleston. In fact, the pastor and his wife had been married in Emanuel AME church. They were the only black family in our upper middle class neighborhood Sea of Whiteness. We saw the effects of Roof's actions up close and personal through our neighbor's anguish. We took them meals more than once as the pastor and his wife spent long, stressful days ministering to the members of Emanuel AME, who had just lost their pastor among those killed. My wife and I did what little we could to try and ease their burdens during the days that followed. Hell, I even came over to his house and killed a Copperhead snake in his backyard so he didn't have to deal with it.

Dylan Roof caused so many decent Americans (Black and White), in Charleston a level of soul crushing shock and pain that was unfathomable. And in spite of that, I and others witnessed the most genuine and unbelievable example of Christian love, mercy and forgiveness I have ever seen. In the days and weeks after this tragedy, the local Black Christians of Charleston, didn't riot, they didn't storm the jail looking to lynch the accused, didn't attack Charleston White people in random acts of retaliatory violence —they prayed, they drew together and became “Christ-like” truly reflecting the compassion and mercy of the Suffering Savior. Lesser Christians might have buckled. They did not. Their behavior had an impact on many people you wouldn't have expected —even the Bubbas and rednecks at my local shooting range were talking about and affected by, how the Black Christians in Charleston had utterly amazed them with the depth of their Christian forgiveness.

Did the subsequent banning of the Confederate battle flag in South Carolina (and around the country), piss us off? Yes.

Did that fact that Gov. Nikki Haley (R-SC), caved like a cheap lawn chair, on the flag issue piss us off? Yes.

Did the arrival of President Obama to exploit this massacre for political purposes piss us off? Yes.

Did the jury reach a guilty verdict and sentence Roof to death in accordance with the Law? Yes.

Would I like to be the one to put a bullet into the back of Dylan Roof's head to carry out the Law? Yes.

Is it time to put Dylan Roof to death? Yes. And may that day come quickly.

The bizarre reasoning for committing those cold blooded murders offered by Roof are perverse. But remains obscured because of the complicity of the media and its agenda aided and by Roof’s illogical choice driven by racism of the way he choose to address it.

For in his so called “manifesto” Roof cited the series of racial killings resulting from the media coverage of the Zimmerman trial. Which was sparked by Obama’s abuse of the “Bully Pulpit” which claimed the attack by black youth perpetrator struggle over a gun of owned by a black Hispanic security guard with a Jewish surname was a victim killed in cold blood.

And because of that surname, Zimmerman. Assumptions were made that the guard was “white” and he was guarding a gated rich (perhaps Jewish) white community. When in reality it was an integrated community comprised of townhouses owned by a mixture of lower middle income level folks of every race banded together for common protection. Because it was located in an area where burgling and thefts and assaults were a common occurrence.

During the highlights of the media coverage id the Zimmerman trial after Obama’s statements. A series of racial attacks began initiated usually by members of black gangs claiming to avenge a Trayvon Martin who was killed in cold blood. .

One of those killings was that of a 22 year old visitor from Melbourne Australia, Christophe Lane.,Lane was a champion runner also here on a baseball scholarship from a Duncan Oklahoma college. While exercising on a Duncan street was attempted to be run over by two members of the Cripts operating a slack suburban. Discouraged one took a gun out and killed him. The press coverage at that time buried any such reference to avengement and claimed it committed by “bored black teenagers”
