“If Scotland does not become independent of the UK then it can’t join the EU as a Member State because it would not be equal. As far as I can tell.”
That’s what I thought. That would mean the EU is advocating for Scexit.

The question of Scotland’s constitutional future, and your relationships with the UK and the EU are for the people of Scotland to decide. It is not our place to tell Scotland what path you should take.”
