I understand the passengers wife was on the plane too, would you want her to fly ahead and be left behind? The whole thing stinks.

Munoz is a fifth generation Californian. His wife, Cathy, whom I know, is Anglo. They have 4 or 5 kids.
I doubt he speaks Spanish. He might, but he would have learned it in school.
He’s a Church of Christ member and went to Pepperdine (a great COC school) for his MBA. He was top of his class. He’s been the CFO or president of 4 or 5 Fortune 100 companies.
So, while I think he was wrong here (and that United sucks, in general), what, EXACTLY, is your issue with Mr. Munoz’s distant ethnicity?

Mr. Munoz is a die-hard Republican, albeit of the RINOe, variety. He started off as a JEB! supporter, moved to Cruz, then ended solidly on the Trump train.
