Is Assad “holding the country together?”
My guess is he does it better than whoever comes next. You seem fairly confident the next guy will be better, based on... nothing apparently. No thought. Just impulsive action.
I didn’t say word one about the next guy being better. And if you think the last seven years in Syria resembles in any way “holding the country together” then we can’t discuss anything with each other.
