President Trump offered up a mixed review of FBI Director James Comey in a new interview with Fox Business.
Trump told the business network’s Maria Bartiromo that he still has confidence in Comey, but he blamed the Obama administration appointee for keeping Hillary Clinton out of jail, and he said “it’s not too late” to fire him.
“No, it’s not too late [to fire Comey], but, you know, I have confidence in him. We’ll see what happens. It’s going to be interesting,” Trump told Bartiromo.

Trump picks and keeps some people I wouldn’t.
The guy has been too successful at what he does, for me to act as if he hasn’t a clue when it comes to staff.
He knows more is coming out on Comey and the Dems.
That must be one of those ringing endorsements.
Comey is a Clinton foot soldier.
Of that there can be no doubt.

I’ve said it before and will repeat. Obama always appointed fellow travelers. Obama appointed Comey. Comey (and his FBI) has acted just like a fellow traveler. Do not trust him. Ever.

I like how Trump plays chess. Comey still has not given the documentation to the Congressional oversight committee that was requested. IMHO this was a shot across the bow of the FBI director. Hehehe

I have to defer to President Trump on this, he has more info than we do and doesn’t make too many mistakes, besides maybe he needed Comey’s Money Laundering Services at HSBC

This is a key comment. Remember, President Trump has seen the classified info so he knows what will be going down. Right now it is safe to surmise that keeping Comey there is a strategic tactic and this is a waiting game until certain things (known to Trump) unfold.
