It sounds like things are on pretty much the same schedule here and there. Though we don’t have azaleas, a lot of people do and they’re really putting on a show.
Our Immortality irises have many blooms right now and the English Charm are almost ready to pop open. They’re an odd color combination but are quite pretty.
One nice surprise was a patch of daffodils bursting in bloom over the weekend. I thought they were all finished for the season.
YAY! I hoped the radar wasn’t tellin’ stories when I checked earlier. Glad you got some rain.
It was a good day here. Mostly cloudy when I woke up but it cleared off later in the afternoon. We might get a little rain tomorrow but we aren’t holding our breath. T’would be nice if we do get some because we need it.

Darn the luck not getting to spend time together this afternoon but with break coming up and Spring finally there, should be plenty of relaxing in the sun ahead. :-)
A quiet day here. Hubby was in AL all day so I puttered around the house. Got everything set up for Pixie’s kittens when the time comes and took Buckwheat outside for a bit. It was a nice day to sit outside together.
Great day and spent it with family.
Looking forward to work tomorrow. Lots to do.
I remember y’all having the ice storms. Glad they didn’t kill the roses!
I’d worried about our daylilies getting clobbered by freezes and frosts since they came up so early but managed to protect them enough. Whew!
Sounds like we both got lucky this year. :-)

Awesome!
Are you planning to plant tomatoes this year or do you still have plenty of them canned from last year?
:-)
:-)
It wasn’t as much as we got last week, but I’ll take it!
Oh...and WOOOHOOO to you! :)
Any is better than none. I was glad to see it on the radar when checking things out earlier.
Hubby just got back from AL a short time ago and said there’s a wildfire in the mountains between here and Chattanooga. A BIG one. Dang, it’s starting early this year. :-(

Oh, no! I sure hate to hear that! I hope they get it put out and that y’all get rain soon to help them with that effort!
It’s going to be a very long year!
That silly black stork sounds like he lost his best friend. LOL!
They’re better when eaten fresh any way. :-)
Woohoo...Happy Easter, Ms Feather.
My FR went away just as I was getting ready to post. The thread was 20+ minutes late. I thought it was my internet, but everything else worked.
He said he didn’t see any sign of people trying to put it out, which is weird. Said the fire stretched a few miles along one side of the interstate. Nothing on the Nashville news about it, I guess because it’s on the Chattanooga side of the TN River. Not in the viewing area.
We have a small chance for rain this week and the chances are smaller the farther east you go. Not looking good for help putting that fire out.
Poor Ozols is looking for a mate. Something must have happened to Zile over the winter and I have no idea what the stork population is like in that area. Might not be easy to get a new mate.
There were eggs on the nest this time last year.
He’d probably appreciate it if it would STOP SNOWING there. LOL!
Snowed where the eagles are, too, though not as much.
Did he report it...just in case? Maybe it had just started. It’s amazing how fast they spread! I saw one here, and it was a frightening sight!
