“I enjoyed Bill on Almost live.”

Ahhh, you are probably one of five people who remember that show. Be like billy still makes me giggle and I occasionally watch all of those skits. Though yes nye was way more entertaining then.

I remember one of the very first episodes. The main host (Ross Shafer) was interviewing people checking out at this new, really big store. The show was making fun of it because you could buy groceries and tires. He’d interview people at the checkout counter with a full grocery cart and say something like, “Did you remember to pick up tires today?”

The name of this new upstart was Costco.

BTW, I was doing Karaoke at the BullPen Tavern about 18 years ago one day and Ross was there with his girlfriend. He said that he lived in LA and was working in a show down there and they were at the Bullpen because his girlfriend said it was the best karaoke in the Seattle area. At least at that time, she was right. Mike was an amazing KJ and is still doing it - and is still my friend even though I now live in KY.
