THE US and South Korea have carried out a series of chilling military drills in a devastating response to Kim Jong-un’s missiles tests.
The allies undertook a military exercise, codenamed Max Thunder, in a bid to “sharpen tactical skills” and “test aerial combat capability”.
Around 1,000 US airmen and fighter jets have teamed up with the South Korean Air Force in a joint combat training to ensure they are ready to combat the North’s provocations, the Pacific Command (PACOM) announced today.
On Sunday, President Donald Trump tweeted: “Our military is building and is rapidly becoming stronger than ever before. Frankly, we have no choice!”
North Korea’s latest missile test was a failure as it exploded seconds after it was set off in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The reclusive state’s media has made no comment on the launch, which analysts say is normal for the Pyongyang regime when things go awry.
On Saturday Choe Ryong Hae, a close aide to Kim Jong-un said: “If the United States wages reckless provocation against us, our revolutionary power will instantly counter with annihilating strike, and we will respond to full-out war with full-out war and to nuclear war with our style of nuclear strike warfare.”

If Kim ever tried to start a war or order a nuclear strike, he would be immediately killed by his own privileged inner circle or Chinese operatives. His inner circle knows better than anyone that their very lives would be over if this idiot actually started a war.
