We thought he’d be strong and drain the swamp, but it looks like he is being overcome BY the swamp at this point.

I’m tired of the hand wringing hysterics. Where are the liberal policies Trump has supposedly embraced? I don’t see them. Will Trump fire Bannon? Maybe. He had three campaign managers, but he was still Trump.

I listened to Bannon religiously on Breitbart Sirius XM Patriot in the mornings during the campaign, prior to him being hired by the Trump campaign.

I just knew right then and there a huge political paradigm shift was taking place. When callers called into the show, Bannon allowed them to formulate their own opinions and come to their own conclusions. He didn't correct them or debate them - he CHALLENGED them. Asked them why they thought like this, and what were their solutions to make the issue better. This resulted in more smart callers calling in. You didn't have any of the seminar callers on Rush's show or outright libs that Hannity tries to entertain.

Bannon is this generation's Lee Atwater. Notice that he RARELY gave any interviews with the leftist media. No Twitter or Facebook posts, he wasn't all over the campaign promoting himself. He stayed in the shadows.

That's why I believe that future Republican campaigns are going to model themselves after Trump's. You're going to see more Republican candidates tell the media to go to Hell, refuse to apologize, and not give interviews to people who are going to selectively edit and then discredit them like Colic did to Palin.

Not long ago something happened that shook my faith in President Trump. For a couple of days, maybe less, I was left unsure but then I saw I had nothing to worry about and if anything I learned to not listen to the naysayers again and give my President more time to make his magic happen.

I’d rather see Bannon stay on the staff to continue to give his viewpoint but if that changes then so be it. I just hope someone equally conservative will fill that void.

Maybe someone like 2ndDivisionVet or Lazamataz. :-D

I don’t know whether Trump is getting soft or not. I don’t think so, but that worry always sticks with me

As conservatives, we have been stabbed in the back by our leaders so many times. Its extremely hard to trust anymore.
