I don’t do facebook. Kids have no idea what they are doing, just like the kids in this school. Actually, if you have your picture taken, and sold without permission, that too should be illegal. The individual has a right to privacy. This is a tenet of Freerepublic, not to sell your information, not to attach tracking codes, no pop ups, nothing done here without the permission of participants.
Once your information goes to the Internet, you have lost control of it. It no longer belongs to you. It’s up to you to protect your privacy by not putting it on the Internet.
American privacy laws do not apply to foreign countries. If you back up your computer to “the Cloud” or Carbonitte or the like, you have lost control of it.
