UCS is a b.s. leftard activist entity, so anything from them can be regarded with great skepticism.
Certainly we want ABM capabilities that attain 100% effectiveness, but even if we don't yet have that it is better to have a lot than nothing at all. If NK or Iran were able to launch one or a few missiles at us, would we want a good chance of knocking them down or no chance at all??? It doesn't mean a POTUS should assume a perfect defense which doesn't exist, it means we should have the best we can attain at the present time and keep working for more.

If the “experts” are mistaken, then the story ought not to have been printed because its wrong. On the other hand, if the “experts” are right, than the story ought not have been printed for a more serious reason. The gripping hand is that these “experts” should inform the military about vulnerabilities not the press and by extension our enemies.
