No kidding ... It's an engineering school. It's supposed to be hard. Not everybody will be able to hack it. Not everybody should be able to hack it. Best thing is to weed out the non-hackers as quickly as possible and bid them goodbye.

At NJIT in the 1970’s the attrition rate for chemical engineering was 88% and electrical engineering was 67%. I worked my butt off for the BSEE, while working during the day as a technician.
