I don’t recall anywhere in the bible that discourages women from working. Men and women should both make family their priority. That includes pastors and missionaries, family should always come first.

There are countless scriptures regarding women working. Again, I don’t believe women are competing. In terms of salary, I see no reason that the pay should be based on performance, not based on gender, race, etc.

For instance, lets refer to Proverbs 31:16-18
“16 She considers a field and buys it; with the fruit of her hands she plants a vineyard”
17 She sets about her work vigorously;
her arms are strong for her tasks.
18 She sees that her trading is profitable,
and her lamp does not go out at night.

Here we have a woman who is handling the money, purchasing property, and planting a vinyard, she also makes trades for her business.

Sounds like a business woman. As we know She’s also taking care of her family. Is she competing in a man’s world?

I think you’re in a great deal of denial about the tenants of the “women’s movement” and what’s happening right now.

The Bible says that women are to be under obedience to the man (1 Corinthians 14:34) who is their head (1 Corinthians 11:3). Women are to be keepers of the home (Titus 2:4-5).

The “women’s movement”, “feminism” and popular culture all clearly and expressly militate against these biblical commandments to women. You’re in a great deal of denial if you don’t realize this basic fact.

“There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”—Galatians 3:28

Biblical Feminism
Biblical feminists believe that Scripture affirms the worth and value of men and women equally – and that all who have accepted Christ’s offer of new life should have equal opportunity to serve God. They take seriously Paul’s statement that “there is neither male nor female, for we are all one in Christ Jesus”. Biblical feminists advocate partnership, not competition; mutual submission, not dominion by one sex over the other; the priesthood of all believers, not a male hierarchy.

However, in rejecting the traditionalists’ patriarchal teaching that male is norm, biblical feminists also reject any reactionary matriarchal notion that female is norm. For biblical feminists, only Christ is norm.

Biblical feminists believe that being rooted and grounded in Christ (Col. 2:7), aiming to grow up into the fullness and stature of Christ (Eph. 4:13), and seeking to serve as Christ commands us to serve (John 13:13-17, 13:34-35) must mean following Christ’s example of giving up one’s rights for others (Phil. 2:3-8, Mark 10: 42-45). Any limitation or denial of the human rights of women cannot be reconciled with Christ’s clear call to take up our cross and follow him.

For biblical feminists, Calvary is both the great leveling agent and the great unifying agent. We are all the same at the foot of the cross, all equally needy of the same gift of salvation equally offered to all who believe (John 1:12, I Cor. 5:17). In this larger perspective of our spiritual equality, we who would be Christ’s disciples dare not discriminate against our fellow human beings for whom Christ died. When we seek to obey Christ’s new command to love as he loved, we find that to Christianize sexism is to end it.

We are all the same at the foot of the cross

In biblical value, yes, in biblical role, no.

$13 million is a lot to pay out if there is nothing there. Speaking as a woman, Monica went into his office snapping her thong at him. She also was having an affair with her high school drama coach when in high school, and insinuated herself into his family baby sitting their child(ren?). Her mother was famous for writing a tell all book about her “3 tenors” that she had affairs with. Where was daddy during all of this? Well, Monica out fxxxed her mommy, and if she was mad at daddy, punished him good. Sometimes lonely men need to be protected from neurotic women seeking power.

Ok, let’s go from your last posts. . What if husbands want their wives to work. Perhaps even need their wives to work to contribute to the finances at home.

Once in the working world, a woman is not subject to her boss any different than a man is subject to his boss. They are both out there working. This is not Afghanistan where the woman needs to be at home.

But, I think most women want to stake care of their children. They live their kids. It’s not a chore or an obligation. It’s love. But, of course it’s a responsibility. Just as the case with men. Their responsibility is to provide and love.

Clarissa Danforth (1792–1855) was the first woman ordained as a Christian minister in the United States.

Danforth was born in Weathersfield, Vermont in 1792. After her ordination by the Free Will Baptists in 1815 she became a preacher throughout New England. She began preaching in Chepachet, Rhode Island as pastor of the Chepachet Baptist Church. Danforth spent most of her career in Rhode Island. She also preached for periods in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont. In 1822 she married Danford Richmond a Baptist minister from Pomfret, Connecticut.

How do you explain the hundreds of millions of abortions - infanticide - in the name of “My Body, My Choice”?

We are living in an age where children in way too many cases are sacrificed on the altar of free sex and money first. This is a direct outcome from “feminism” and the “women’s movement”.

You are in great denial about the age we’re living in. I’m sure you’re not alone.

Kathryn Kuhlman was one of the 20th century’s greatest healing evangelists. She was a beautiful woman filled with the Holy Spirit and power.

These are exceptions, as Margaret Thatcher was an exception.

The exception doesn’t nullify nor dilute the Biblical rule of God’s general plan for the role of women.

You are in denial if you don’t see the 100-year societal trend of casting away God and his Word including the proper place of women.
