It was mentioned in several news segments over recent weeks that it is time to renew the “702” which is a renewal of the intelligence community activities. Not sure how much of the IC it would include, but it is coming up this fall.

It was mentioned in several news segments over recent weeks that it is time to renew the “702” which is a renewal of the intelligence community activities.

Hope Congress spends a lot of time reviewing the weaponization of our IC and makes recommendations to Jeff Sessions before any approval of the 702. We just can't have a typical rubber stamp Congress approval of the IC, given what has taken place since January, 2009. Clapper and especially Brennan have to be indicted, tried and convicted.

Fox's Adam Housley reported both the House and Senate investigations are being stonewalled..... the FBI is being very difficult. investigators just want to know about Rice's unmasking operations. How frequent was this? Who was doing it? Why were they being unmasked?

Housley added: [A Committee member says the FBI is] going to have to turn everything over or they're not going to authorize the congressionally approved 702 program which allows them to do this in the first place.

REFERENCE---Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act, or FISA, is up for reauthorization by Congress in 2017. The program surveils non-U.S. persons believed to be located outside the United States, incidentally sweeping up the communications of Americans as well, in order to acquire foreign intelligence.
