IS FOX ABOUT TO BECOME CNN? Leftist Wives Of Liberal Murdoch Sons Blamed For Firing Of Bill O’Reilly

With the liberal sons of Rupert Murdoch now firmly at the helm of what once was a conservative-leaning alternative to leftist cable news shows like CNN, MSNBC and the mainstream media news outlets, there is a very good chance Americans are witnessing the end of a significant era where FOX News ruled the ratings and liberal-run propaganda networks only dreamed of the kind of revenue they were pulling down.

It is difficult to exaggerate the significance of Fox News’ sacking of Bill O’Reilly.

Not only was he the single most dominant public figure in America’s vast conservative media environment, his removal signals the growing power of James and Lachlan Murdoch in the world’s most powerful media empire, their father Rupert Murdoch’s 21st Century Fox.

O’Reilly was dismissed overnight following allegations of sexual harassment by at least six women. It has been reported that Lachlan’s wife Sarah Murdoch helped influence the decision. Last year the former Fox News creator, Roger Ailes, was sacked in similar circumstances, going on to advise Donald Trump’s presidential campaign.

"For 86-year-old Rupert, Fox News is a key part of his legacy, as well as the family company’s health: the most profitable news outlet ever ($1.5 billion in profits this year) and among the most influential. For James, 44, and Lachlan, 45, the hope is to reshape this legacy, to move Fox away from what they see as its retro, Trump-style views toward, well, something nicer (and to do this profitably, they hope, somehow)."

The days of Fox news as lone major source of Conservative News are very likely to be numbered. The leftist Son's of Murdok have anther plan for the network.

NewsCorp execs endorsed John F. Kerry in 2004.

Sounds like it. The progressives are lined up with ropes for the lynching. This will be a very big deal as there will only be on line conservative voices left and for how long?

There is little news in Fox, the same with all cable “news” outlets.
OANN is the only news source there is.

Yet these wives have ties to the Clinton Global Initiative and apparently don’t see the irony of supporting the foundation of a man who literally sexually abused an intern while in office and abused dozens of other women prior.

Fox is apparently replacing O'Reilly with Tucker Carlson, a man far more conservative and far more eloquent in his conservatism than Bill O'Reilly. Let's see how this plays out - unless Murdoch's sons are utter morons, they won't give up the ratings that a less-liberal slant has given them to join the race to the bottom with the other MSM organizations, which are basically house organs for the Democratic Party.

It may be that we have to create new networks, it may also be that we are nearing the end of the TV news peroid anyway.

It will nonetheless be necessary to rebuild a Conservative network, even if we can recapture all the Conservative Fox news Talent. Simply getting the broadcast rights and cable access will be a real problem.

I honestly don’t like Tucker Carlson much, he really doesn’t put together stories, or make anything clear. He just assumes the viewer is following the conversation enough to recognize the redicoulus position of the leftist he brings on. In my experience that has not been true in our modern world.

DirecTV just started carrying OANN and so I’ve been watching it. It is terrific, what we had hoped for Fox to be.

These stupid “soap opera” “inside” stories disgust me.
FOX will do what makes it the most money.

“The leftist Son’s of Murdok have anther plan for the network.”

BS. Since they took over Megyn left, O’Reilly left..

And the replacements are far better.

Fox News is finally watchable again after years of nonstop leftwing propaganda. Now they just need to fire Shep.

I swapped to DIRECTV free m cable 9-10 months ago and was sad there was no OANN. So glad I get it again!

I’m astounded folks in some media, and even on this site want to make this something political, left vs right.

But this firing looks like prudent business to me.

BOR is looking like a serial harasser, at least. He appears to have put his employer at great reputational and financial risk. And is the cause of millions in payouts.

Any decent man would have fired him years ago.

My kid literally never watches broadcast TV. Youtube and Netflix is where he gets entertainment.

CNN - MSNBC - NBC - ABC - CBS - Fox—There's not a dime's worth of difference between any them.

Fox basically edges just ever so slightly to the right of the other Propaganda Media outlets—once in a while...

OReilly was not that conservative...

Absolutely true; and O'Reilly was PC in many ways as well. The label "No Spin Zone" was ludicrous, at least to my sensibilities.

On balance, Bill O'Reilly has never been a net benefit to this Revolution, IMHO...
