If you'd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.
..................
Opening today.
We plan to see it. Mrs. rktman went to Armenia soon after the fall the the soviet union to help educate them about business and loved the people there. She went with her former boss and her bosses husband who is Armenian. Nearly 3 weeks of ‘WHT did I get myself in to?’. She saw first hand what happens when communism is in place. Hard to pry old ways loose. But, the black market and ‘mafia’ was thriving, as always. ;-) When she got back to the states, she kissed the ground. Literally.

What is the most at is the most horrible crime against humanity in history? Translation please.
Massacres of Armenians occurred before 1915, too. One campaign began in 1894; another in 1905.
Turks had apparently run out of Zoroastrians, many of whom fled persecution in the 1860’s.
Thank you for posting this.
I intend to see the movie as soon as possible.
Purely from a business perspective, at $100m, even with Christian Bale, this “promises” to lose a lot of money.
It’s a worthwhile story, but not at that pricetag.

I plan on seeing the movie....but I already hate Turks/mussies
In Innocents Abroad, 1869, which established his reputation as a writer, Mark Twain described Syria under the Ottoman Turkish Empire: Then we called at the tomb of Mahomets children and at the mausoleum of the five thousand Christians who were massacred in Damascus in 1861 by the Turks. They say those narrow streets ran blood for several days, and that men, women and children were butchered indiscriminately and left to rot by hundreds all through the Christian quarter; they say, further, that the stench was dreadful.
All the Christians who could get away fled from the city, and the Mohammedans would not defile their hands by burying the infidel dogs. The thirst for blood extended to the high lands of Hermon and Anti-Lebanon, and in a short time twenty-five thousand more Christians were massacred and their possessions laid waste.
I have a picture of the Armenian genocide summed up in one picture but is too insensitive to display; and no, it’s not a picture of dead kids (although there are plenty).
Islam loves it's mountains of infidel corpses.
Coincidentally, I will be seeing it this evening.
One thing that the Armenian Genocide should have taught us, is that you dont need atomic bombs or gas chambers to murder a whopping number of people.
All you need is a disarmed populace, and a handful of thugs to round them up and march them off.
And that (among other reasons) is why I am armed.
So is the fault of Turks or Muslims, or both:(
Looks like Turkey is going to feel somewhat of a backlash in foreign relations due to the timing of this “matter” as they teach it. Threatening to unleash millions of refugees of Turkish origin against the West was Yuge Mistake!
Saw an interview with Christian Bale this morning.... he says that entire proceeds of movie are going to be given to charities. On a quick search, here is one of many articles that says the same thing. http://deadline.com/2017/02/the-promise-elton-john-film-proceeds-nonprofits-aids-foundation-academy-award-party-1201927149/
