Yes, the article's sympathetic spin toward the "poor herders" is duly noted ... i.e. the "herders" were "desperate" for grazing land for their herds because of "drought" - no doubt caused by globull warming.

As if being "desperate" to steal grassland in some way could justify the act of shooting a woman in the stomach.
