A group of Yale University graduate students announced Tuesday evening that they would be undertaking a hunger strike to pressure the administration into granting them better union benefits. The strike is taking place in front of University President Peter Salovey’s home.
"Yale wants to make us wait and wait and wait … until we give up and go away," the eight members of the graduate student union Local 33 announced. "We have committed ourselves to waiting without eating."

If only I were in that area, I would love to bring some bags of really bad aromatic junk food to them and place it a few feet away, welcoming them to partake!

I was on a hunger strike between breakfast and lunch, and i was so successful, I struck again between lunch h and dinner.
Get a whole bunch of conservative students, a whole mess of burgers, ribs and pizza and proceed to eat in front of the little starving snowflakes. Photograph them when they leave screaming in the night, running for the nearest fast food joint. Post the photos online with the caption “losers can’t even skip a meal!”

A few years ago there was a group that stood in front of city hall with signs saying they were on a hunger strike.
After a couple days, I noticed that each time I saw them it was a different group of people.
I talked to them about that and they explained that they Hunger Strike in eight hour shifts.
A bag of Cheetos can look very tempting at the end of a long day of hunger striking.
At least one black leader- Sharpton I think - did soup for weeks as a hunger strike. Lost 30 pounds or so, but actually did without real food.
I wonder if it’s dawning on the media yet that reporting the hopelessly-juvenile antics (sometimes in deadly serious tones) of the “social justice warriors” is making the media seem hopelessly-juvenile as well.
