I don't know if this would solve the problems, but have you ever tried going back to a recent ~restore point~ and doing a "system restore" to take you to an earlier time when everything was working OK?

Just a thought from a non-techie who wants to help. ;)

I don’t know how that would help because the trouble started when it fell into my bathtub... LOL.

The upper right hand corner of the screen is the only part that never came back to its original brightness.

Still remains pretty damn dark and difficult to read. Like a gray shadow over everything.

I managed to dry every part with my hair dryer for 3 days.
Must have missed part of the screen.
