Communist May Day Demonstrations
Russian Communist Workers' Party demonstration on 1 May ( May Day) was celebrated after the February Revolution enabled the first legal celebration in 1917. It became an important official holiday of the Soviet Union, celebrated with elaborate popular parade in the centre of the major cities. The biggest celebration was traditionally organised in Red Square, where the General Secretary of the CPSU and other party and government leaders stood atop Lenin's Mausoleum and waved to the crowds. Since 1992, May Day is officially called "The Day of Spring and Labour", and remains a major holiday in present-day Russia.

Want to teach people about “democracy?”
First teach them about where money comes from.

I hope you only give them enough airline miles for a one way trip.

When Pinkos say democracy they do not mean elections My understanding is that we were established with a mixed Constitution. It has elements combining monarchy (in an executive), aristocracy (in a Senate) and democracy (in the people), in such a way to limit the bad effects of any one of them having too much power. 'Rats seem to keep trying to move the Republic to a democracy, case in point being the 17thA.
