I doubt any of this is coincidental. Conservatives in D.C. are under attack at this point, and not just by Democrats. Heritage is probably the most recognizable conservative org in D.C., so kneecapping it is high on the to-do list for progressives (D and R). It sure sounds like this Needham character needs to be jettisoned instead of Demint, and his being linked to Guiliani (who I like well enough but don't view as a conservative) makes it questionable as to whether Needham is a true conservative.
Has anyone else noted that ESPN is also imploding? The two top cable channels at the same time. I think this sex scandal stuff is phony. I think they both see that their model doesn't work anymore & are cutting losses. I doubt politics or sex has anything to do with it.
