Far-right presidential candidate Marine Le Pen said on Tuesday she was better placed than her rival, centrist Emmanuel Macron, to defend France's interests in what she called the "new world" of U.S. President Donald Trump and Russia's Vladimir Putin. Le Pen, who rails against "uncontrolled globalization", hopes to channel the same nationalist, anti-establishment sentiment that propelled Trump to the White House and spurred Britain's vote to leave the European Union, and become the first woman to lead France.
She bills Macron, a pro-European Union former investment banker, as a stooge of banks and the elite. "I think I'm best placed to talk to this new world that's emerging....

Someone should interview Hillary! on how important it is to elect a woman as president of France.
You would think Hillary would like to see Marine ‘break through the glass ceiling’ in France.

Le Pen is adamantly against the USA and Trump....those cheering her on need to remember she is French.
So too the Philippines' Duterte.

Well I hope she has better leadership skills. The prez cowering in the corner while the Dems get the cash they demand is absurd,
he has done some good things by executive order.. which is so easy obamas could do it.. no bully pulpit on the budget.
Why? Is he scared? Is he just like ivanka and his personal history suggests.. a big lib? Bill n hill pal?
