I agree on all counts that they should fire Colbert.

But isn’t it funny that the very people who love Colbert and hate Trump should call for Colbert to be let go because of his “homophobic” comment.

Ah well. Such are the demented and twisted thought processes that snowflakes have.

Yes it is. But harnessing PC attitudes can be an effective tool. I was semi-involved with an eminent domain issue where I used to live. The township was pretty set on going forward with it. Problem was, it was a black-owned property in an overwhelmingly white township, and the family selling had ties to it going back to the early 1900s. At the township meeting a number of black residents and local historians spoke their minds about it, and the township wilted under the assault.

In that case there was no qualm in my mind about empowering black families over a grasping local government. Here, on the other hand, we would need to be super careful about empowering the sodomite agenda. But if we can bring Colbert down with "homophobia" without ceding them any power, then by all means, use that leverage.
