We forget that Hillary was responsible for the mess in the first place. It was her decision to set up the private server to hide emails and illegal activity at the State dept. And then she and her lawyers destroyed the evidence.
And the DNC hacking showed us all the truth about the inner workings of the DNC machine and the plan to diminish Bernie in favor of Hillary.
And if there was any colluding going on between Russian and a Presidential candidate, it was most likely Hitlery Rosenberg, since any connection to Donald Trump would have magically been preserved and exposed.

BTW, I think that I know the answer — it was a ruse and the investigation turned up some suspicious activities that happened on Obama’s watch and Podesta/Hillary connections to the Russians.
