If this is the budget deal we get when Republicans control the House, the Senate and the presidency, there’s no point in ever voting for a Republican again.
Not only is there no funding for a wall, but — thanks to the deft negotiating skills of House Speaker Paul Ryan — the bill actually prohibits money from being spent on a wall.
At a CYA press conference on Tuesday, Trump’s ridiculously chipper budget director, Mick Mulvaney, described the bill’s prohibition on building a wall as a MAJOR win. (At least Mulvaney said it in English, unlike his all-Spanish 2014 townhall.)

The wall is being built as I type this post. Mulvaney’s press briefing is well worth reviewing on youtube. No one, that I’ve seen, disputes what he said.

Having a president who at least wants to build a wall is better than nothing. We have 8 years left. It will get done one way or another.
Did Ann miss the Gorsuch confirmation, the MILLIONS of new jobs announced since January and the decrease in illegals at the border?
If they continue attempt to undermine and compromise Trump, that is exactly what will happen after the Trump era.

Except there is funding for the wall. Any fence post, flag, sign, chain or other border markings gets replaced by a wall. There must be miles of these things.

Maybe YOU need to get off your ass with others in YOUR district and go to this person’s office and keep on their ass like YOU are required to do.
The left does that. For some reason most of the right feel like they are too good for such things.
You are free to “never” vote GOP again. You will then get a Democrat who will gladly allow you to have all the free time you want because they aren’t going to give a damn about what you want.
When the next congressional election comes by, how about you spend less time seeing which candidate can recite the most bible verses, do the most “manly” pose with a gun, mentions vets more times, or whose kids and wife look the most wholesome, and try spending more time getting the person that will be on the shortest leash?
