Agreed. The system is not perfect but by and large it works well. The vast majority of cops are good honest people, doing an often thankless and dangerous job. Sadly a few are not. They need to be identified and weeded out. And if they abuse their position they need to be held to account.
Most of us get up in the morning and go to work and have a 99.99999 percent chance of coming home safe. A peace officer doesnt but he or she still gets up and goes to work and stands in front of those who want to harm us and our families. The media are such scumbags, incredible scumbags until they need someone to protect thier sorry a##
