EB-5 visas started in 1990. There are also E-1 and E-2 visas which result from treaties with specific countries. The oldest of these started in 1852.

Specific projects may be tailored to qualify for these visas as a way of raising capital. If DJT were not President this would be a non-story.

A WaPo chinese person said she was threatened..and harassed.and forced to delete photos and video of kushners selling the visas. Doesnt say who was behind it...for that level of pressure seems like it would be their govt.
