The British-based betting firm Ladbrokes says Marine Le Pen is attracting 90 percent of the bets on the eve of the French presidential election, as people gamble that France is in line for an upset.
The betting firm said Saturday despite the polls favoring her centrist rival, Emmanuel Macron, gamblers are putting money on the idea that France may be in line for a political shock similar to Britains decision to leave the European Union or Donald Trumps victory in the U.S. presidential election.

Sounds too good to be true.
If so, there will be earthquakes.

Ladbroker putting this out to attract more bets.
Good marketing.
Le Pen even with a loss is setting herself up nicely for another run as France sinks further.

Who wouldn’t lay some money down at those odds?
I remember people thinking Iron Mike beating Buster Douglas was a sure thing and they took TERRIBLE odds for Michael, thinking it was an easy 4 or 5 percent overnight.
They got ####ed big :)
I remember when a met/yankee subway series was 4000 to 1 at the beginning of the year they both made it.
100 bucks landed you 400k!!!! Wow.

Looks to me that in this pic, Macron is trying to save his head from the "religion of peace."

They reported the same thing very close to the Brexit vote. There was more money bet on Stay, but a bigger number of people bet on Leave. It makes sense that it was a good predictor for the number of votes cast.
