Global warming means you grow corn in Canada. Global cooling means you grow corn in Mexico. In between, you grow corn either way. Get over it, world.

One glitch in the reporting is not accounting for the increased length of a solar cycle when there are few spots. The 11 year cycle length is typical for the high spot counts of the second half of the 20th century. For a virtually spot free cycle, the length may extend to 17 years as measured by charting magnetic or RF noise instead of spots. Instead of 33 years (3 x 11), possibly 50 plus years should be considered.

And in Iowa, grow corn with a month less growing requirement for maturity, which yields only 2/3 the bushels. Grow Barley in really short seasons.
