With all the upper eschelon of the Obammy DOJ under investigation of one kind or another, the chain of command has to be even more FUBAR than is normal for the FBI.

FLUSH AGAIN !!!

Yes, Comey was operating outside the scope of his job and had an eye for drama and the Clinton investigation was a total fur ball from how it was conducted (fixed w/ Lynch and McCabe) and the public presentation, denial of prosecution, and then the Oct re-opening.

BUT Comey’s Management needs to be called into question too. Lynch put him in a bad spot with speaking to Slick Willie on the plane about grand kids and golf. (Yea right, I want to see Lynch hit a Taylor Made 3 Wood) and Sally Yates was another partisan hack job too. Obama too wanting preserve his ‘Legacy.’

Comey had no guidance, nor would either of those two prosecute, Hillary, Huma, or Weiner.

So maybe Comey did the right thing based on his beliefs and values knowing his bosses would do nothing. At least try the case in the Court Of Public Opinion knowing full well it would never go to court, and it was likely a suicide mission. BUT if he cost Hillary the election going public with this stuff, then he is a patriot in my eyes as the rest of the DOJ was a do nothing group that felt that laws were for the little guys who were citizens or here legally.

The USA dodged a big bullet in Nov and Comey was a foot soldier.

Was he out of line, Yup and he paid a price, and helped keep her out of the WH.

(from the article):" DiGenova said Comey was "out of control" and "so self-centered and full of himself"

The FBI is supposed to do the investigation only, and present the facts to the proper judicial authority
who will then decide if there is sufficient evidence and facts for prosecution.
With all the media attention, Comey was acting as investigator and judge and jury..
that's not his job !

and helped keep her out of the WH.
= = =

Conflicting MSM narratives.

Trump liked Comey because he helped him win.

Trump fired Comey because he was getting close on Russian thing.

What mental condition allows holding two opposing views views at the same time?

I’ll bet MSM can hold more than that. Their equivalent of 3-D chess.

There were 3 of us watching this and all of us were laughing & not because it was ‘funny’ - Joe spared no words in his criticism of Comey. It’s worth watching if you haven’t seen it & I think Joe was “spot on”.

No they fired Comey with Rosenstein finally in place as Deputy AG as Dir-FBI works for him. And Comey acting like AG sets a bad precedence as rewarding bad behavior then becomes normal behavior from now on.

I do think Comey needed replaced, but collecting evidence to present to Holder, or then Loretta Lynch, was an exercise in futility. His biggest sin was going along to get along to hold on to his job. Obummer would have turfed him out if he tried to bring action on Lynch, so it was time to turf him out by Trump as he was proven to be open to manipulation. I think holding on to his employment was his first priority. I do think re-opening the email investigation on Clinton helped her lose the election, but think part of it was currying favor with Trump when he saw the way the wind was blowing.

I note that Coley gets a staff car. And a security car escort. And returns to DC in an executive jet.

He is probably attended to by bodyguards.

Why can’t he fly commercial?

He’s a LEO. Why can’t he carry and protect himself.

America is broke. Trillions in debt. And no one says anything.

At his press conference he should have simply said....our investigation is over and we are now handing the case to the Attorney General’s Office so that a grand jury can be impaneled.
That would have thrown the ball back into Loretta Lynch’s court but not her specifically. Would have boxed her in. She was not the only one in the AG’s office.
Instead he wanted to be the big guy in charge.

Lynch and Bubba didn't think they'd get caught having the meeting. Comey was an odd duck. Refused to prosecute clear law violations, talked about investigations in progress, and continued the Trump/Russia farce well past it's expiration date. Also, though, hate to admit it, but his bringing to light Hillary's misdeeds made a big difference. The press knew about it, and Wikileaks proved it, but nobody in the old media was touching it.
