Former FBI Director James Comey reportedly told associates in March that President Trump was "crazy" for suggesting former President Obama had wiretapped him. Comey also called the president “outside the realm of normal,” according to a report from The New York Times on Wednesday.
The Times said that, in return, Trump was furious when Comey publicly refused to back his claims that he was wiretapped during the 2016 campaign before the House Intelligence Committee in March.
Comey said during the March 20 hearing that the FBI had “no information” supporting Trump’s allegations. The president told aides there was “something wrong with” Comey Sunday, two days before his ultimate ouster.

Comey reportedly, though, told associates that he thought Trump was unlikely to fire him, believing his removal would make people revisit how he handled the probe into Hillary Clinton’s email server — in particular the announcement days before the election that they were reopening the investigation. as we know by now, Comey lied in testimony March 20 if he said he had no knowledge of Trump being metadata’d.

And that must be why Comey hid the “Unmasking” intelligence from Congress, cause the President was ‘Crazy’.
Comey knew exactly who was wiretapping Trump. He’d say anything so people would not look to closely at the FBI and who in it was gathering AND leaking material

Comey caught himself up in his own damn web and was whip sawing both sides, both parties, the Justice Department and the FBI morale.
It was taking a mental toll on him, even including I believe on his appearance. Last week he looked awful.
In the end, Hillary Clinton added James Comey to her body count. Plain and simple.

Okay, then Pres Trump needs to do his job. He needs to announce ASAP, that since this is “all legal,” his administration will step up and do the legal thing to protect Americans' safety and security.
They'll be surveilling and unmasking any and all Democrats, on a continuing non-stop basis, particularly Democrats who have talked with foreign ambassadors, foreign financial groups, tropical offshore entities, and the like.
Plus, the Trump administration will ask for the “unmasking” of all those Democrats who are involved in such talks... because it is "legal."
AND Trump will use "Obama’s very own spur-of-the-moment legal rules" to distribute that information to every US intelligence agency. (HAT TIP BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP)

When the Senate issued their Sense of the Senate Resolution that McCain was NBC they originally tried to piggy back Obama on the resolution. Wonder why?
I get the impression that Comey had telegraphed “I can make things very difficult for you” to one too many persons.
This may have been his preferred hammer, but not everyone is a nail.
