Correct. General Lee is above all this pettiness. Young Southern men are still named for him and are proudly serving the nation today. They are raised to emulate Lee. If they tear down all the statues, he will still live forever in Southern hearts
I somewhat favor a statue of Andrew Jackson, given what he did for NO in 1815.
