Review Course: The Birds and the Bees

The birds and the bees have got it right. There's a male, there's a female, there's progeny. And the social organism thrives. In our heavily (and increasingly) sexualized culture, this appears to be less and less the case.

On any reasonable scale of values, sex is merely one of many human needs and preoccupations, fundamental but not exclusive. However, instead of simply acknowledging the natural binary and getting on with life, the focus is now on sex-related phenomena in any of their multiple forms and aberrations: sexual politics, sexual performance, sex education, sex scandals, same-sex marriage, sexual coercion (the rape culture meme), and – perhaps most notably – sex changes, cosmetic, chemical, and surgical. To top it off, the male-female divide has been reconceived as a "social construct" that must be unlearned, a relic of the oppressive and unenlightened past.

For the gender radicals, biology itself is irrelevant. In its place, they propose a metaphysics of gender, in which sexed identity is a psychic essence known through an almost mystical apprehension quite apart from the body and its chromosomes, morphology, and hormonal structure. The latest fad – amounting to an epidemic – that has come to afflict us is gender "self-identification" and transgender fluidity, spewing forth a multiplicity of different genders of choice (which can also change from day to day) and spawning a blizzard of surrogate pronouns (zir, hir, elr, zis, ze, etc.) that normal people are forced to recognize – in some places, like the province of Ontario, by law, and also as Bill C-16, now in its second reading in the Canadian Senate, stipulates. In New York City, refusal to use gendered pronouns can result in fines of up to $250,000. Transgender options and their designators continue to proliferate.

God made one species of humans.

He created millions of species of animals for a very good reason; they remained ‘normal’. Humans did not.

The USSR tried to force scientists to study some alternative to reality that was more conducive to socialism. It went so far as to execute scientists who would not go along with soviet “science.”

No matter how much the left wants to alter reality, it is impossible to do so. Sadly, the left can inflict a LOT of harm, including death, in its quest to change reality.

This obsession to elevate sexual deviancy not just to a civil right, but to an alternate reality needs to be put down. It is not good for anyone.

Uranus is a planet, not genitalia.

Our beloved ‘One Nation Under God’ is getting dangerously close to becoming ‘one Nation under Satan’...

Uranus doesn't even look like genetalia.

It’s a good article. I recommend taking the time to read it.

He agrees with my main point about gender dysphoria. That a dysfunction is turned into an important statement with Proper Treatment Required, Even surgery, etc. All wrong.

Has anyone experimented with the sex hormones? Am I the only lucky one here? Hormonal brain tumor, plus fertility treatments, I’ve experienced all kinds of deficits and surfeits. While nothing I’ve experienced has made me doubt my gender at all, I have seen how hormones control your emotions 100%. Not that you can’t override them with civilization and force, but they are powerful. Ask any man in treatment for a cancer where they kill his testosterone.

But we don’t create a civilized society by organizing our FEELINGS. There really are two bio genders. Period.

The problem should be dealt with as we deal with autism, say, or other disabilities. RESPECT RESPECT RESPECT the individual with the disability. We are sorry your legs don’t work. We are sorry you don’t have the gift of sight. We are sorry you are a man but feel like a woman, or don’t feel like either. We will be your friends, we will make life easier for you in reasonable ways.

But we don’t change our entire civilization to avoid all bipedalism or vision. Nor shall we for people with gender dysphoria. We love you! We are ok with you dressing and acting like a man if you’re a woman! You don’t need to trans. You don’t need to chop your body parts. You are perfect just as every creation of Gd is perfect. But things go wrong. And we can all handle it. We don’t need to change your genders or have a panoply of them catering to feelings.

Imagine if we treated marriage the way liberals treat gender. Sure, there could be 50 kinds of marriages, too, all relating to FEELINGS.
- married to a woman, but wish she was a man
- married but hate sex
- married but pedophile
- marriage for political reasons
- married to one woman but interested in mistresses
The list would be endless. So it’s ok to call a man a man no matter how he feels about himself inside.
