Without hard evidence to support it, the accusation that Donald Trump’s campaign colluded with nefarious Kremlinites to win the 2016 election is gaining momentum at an unnervingly fast pace. This fact-free story has now led to the Deputy Attorney General’s appointment of a Special Counselor to investigate it.
What use is such special counsel when the theory of an electoral love connection between Messrs. Trump and Putin has been repeatedly debunked? For an operation of this nature to successfully throw the election to Trump, he and Vlad would have specifically needed to target the swing states (Ohio, North Carolina, and Florida) and the “blue wall” of Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania -- those three being exceptionally difficult to alter, all having gone Democratic for President since 1992. Then, the colluders would have needed to influence the ballot toward Trump in potentially thousands of voting districts in multiple states in order to shift sufficient numbers away from Hillary. Hacking and publishing John Podesta’s electronic correspondence in order to demonstrate the Democratic Party’s low opinion of minorities, Catholics, and Bernie Sanders seems hardly a great way of motivating unemployed Rust Belt workers or transplanted, Northeastern retirees in Boca Raton to rush out to the polls to vote solidly GOP.
This is not to exonerate the Russians from the allegation that they may have engaged in cyberattacking American targets during the 2016 campaign. Nevertheless, even Newsweek had to admit that

The lefT cannot comprehend humor. It makes no sense to them. Humor to a liberal is a wish to see an Other brought to disaster and humiliation.”HAHAHAHA! the bishop stepped in dogshit and slipped and fell and hit his head and died! HAHAHAHA!” Anything more subtle than that can only be understood literally. There is no nuance in the liberals who are always talking about nuances in the Constitution. Liberals are totally lost by puns. My old friend who was once an economically sensible free market and pro morals young man and has evolved into an all but Stalinist professor at UF has gradually lost his sense of humor along the way. He used to be quite witty and full of double entendres but now his eyes grow quizzical and he is quick to make accusations based on others’ humorous speech.
The Left’s goal is to neuter if not dismantle the Presidency. It should feel the heat for trying. Start by denying patronage to the parent companies of the MSM. And everyone knows who that is.
I hope the Special Counselor starts looking at Hillary’s crew and their ties to Russia and maybe even Holder’s Fast and Furious debacle. You will really hear the Demoncrats start howling like a bunch of dogs in a neutering factory.
I believe that is also the goal of the Established Republicans.
My advice to President Trump:
If you are not on offense, you are on defense!
Put on the spike soled boots and start standing on necks.
I love how the media interprets words and sentences differently than intended, or out of context - to push a totally different narrative.
I.E. Trump can say the “memo” was the last straw and the media will say it was the letter that made him fire Comey - but that’s not what Trump said or meant to say or that his English stated, the media really needs to go back to school - or stop the intentionally lying to America.
The Democrats lost the election, and they will keep this up even if it destroys not only their party but the integrity of the United States. Its all about power, not about the people
That’s why the left is so desperate to shut down the Marc Rich angle. If it ever comes out that the source to Wikileaks came from Rich rather than the Russkies, it could open up all kinds of wormy-like cans and take this investigation in unforeseen directions.
Hopefully that will happen. I can almost hear the Demoncrats howling about the investigation is being sidetracked.
